Second Step Foundation Donates $290,000 to Help Fight Hunger across 14 States

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, October 5, 2023 | Second Step Foundation believes that no one in America should be hungry.

In 2023, the Second Step Foundation donated $290,000 to local food banks in 29 markets across 14 states. This funding will continue to help these food banks purchase food and other necessities. The Second Step Foundation is committed to help feed people in the communities where Interstate Companies’ employees live and work.

“The Second Step Foundation is immensely grateful for having a direct effect on ending hunger in our communities.” said Brittany and Dana Domier, Board of Directors. “Nominations from Interstate Companies employees helped select the organizations to receive donations this year. In total, The Second Step Foundation was able to donate $290,000 spread across 29 communities. This would not have been possible without the dedication and effort of the Interstate Companies employees.”
